Everything you need to know about booking Niamh Lee Bridal Hair for your wedding day.
PRICING & PACKAGES
What are your Signature Bridal Hair package prices?
My Signature Bridal Hair packages are:
3 people — €700
4 people — €790
5 people — €880
6 people — €970
Up to six hair services may be completed by Niamh on the wedding morning. If your party is larger or your timeline requires additional support, a second stylist will be needed.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes. The minimum wedding-morning booking is the three-person Signature package at €700.
Smaller bridal parties are very welcome; however, the €700 minimum booking fee will still apply.
What is included in the Signature package?
Your package includes:
• Refined, long-lasting hairstyling for your selected number of people
• Sample hair extensions to try during your bridal trial
• Extension colour matching and a direct purchase link if extensions are recommended
• Veil and hair-accessory placement
• Final checks and finishing touches before Niamh leaves
Does the hairstyle, hair length or thickness affect the price?
No. Your package price is based on the number of people receiving a service, not the hairstyle selected or the length or thickness of the hair.
Can I change the number of people after booking?
Changes may be accommodated depending on the wedding-morning timeline and availability.
Your package can be increased where time allows, but the minimum booking value of €700 will continue to apply if the number of people is reduced.
SECOND-LOOK SERVICE
Can Niamh stay and change my hairstyle later in the day?
Yes. A Second-Look Service can be added for brides who would like an additional hairstyle after the ceremony.
This includes everything in the Signature package, followed by a complete bridal hairstyle change later in the day.
The Second-Look Service is charged at €100 per hour from the ceremony time and usually requires approximately five to six additional hours.
Please mention this when enquiring, as the full day must be reserved in advance.
DEPOSITS & BOOKING
How do I secure my wedding date?
A €200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date.
Your deposit is deducted from the final balance. Your date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and your booking has been acknowledged.
Can I provisionally hold a date?
Dates cannot be held without a deposit. Wedding dates are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
What dates are currently available?
Niamh is currently accepting enquiries for weddings from May 2027 onwards.
Availability is limited and every enquiry is assessed individually based on the date, location, bridal-party size and wedding-morning timeline.
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
Does Niamh travel to the wedding-morning location?
Yes. Niamh provides on-location bridal hairstyling, with travel availability assessed individually based on your wedding date and location.
Please include the exact preparation location when submitting your enquiry so an accurate quote can be provided.
What are the travel charges?
Travel is included for locations within 60 minutes of Headford, Co. Galway.
Locations more than 60 minutes from Headford incur an additional travel charge of €60 per hour.
If a second stylist is required, their travel charge will apply separately.
When is accommodation required?
A €150 accommodation fee applies when:
• The journey to the preparation location is more than two hours, or
• Styling must begin before 6:00am
Accommodation allows Niamh to arrive rested, prepared and ready to provide a calm and punctual start to your wedding morning.
Is there an early-start fee?
Yes. Where photography, ceremony or travel timings require an exceptionally early start, an early-start fee of €100 per hour applies.
If styling must begin before 6:00am, the €150 accommodation fee may also be required.
BRIDAL TRIALS
When should I schedule my bridal trial?
The ideal time for a bridal trial is approximately six to twelve weeks before the wedding.
Trials resume from March 2027, with appointment dates released in rounds to confirmed brides.
Where do trials take place?
All bridal trials take place at Niamh’s private studio in Headford, Co. Galway.
Trials are not available on location.
How much is a bridal trial?
A bridal trial is €150 and lasts approximately two to two-and-a-half hours.
The trial fee is charged separately from your wedding-day package.
How many hairstyles are included in the trial?
Your appointment includes one complete bridal hairstyle.
The appointment allows time to discuss your inspiration, dress, veil, accessories, hair type and overall wedding-day vision before creating and refining your chosen look.
Trying a completely separate second hairstyle may require another appointment and an additional fee.
Can bridesmaids or mothers book trials?
Due to limited availability, trial appointments are reserved exclusively for the bride.
Can I book a trial before securing my wedding date?
Trials are reserved for brides who have paid their deposit and confirmed their wedding-day booking with Niamh.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
Do I need to purchase extensions before my trial?
No. Niamh provides sample clip-in extensions for you to try during your bridal trial.
If extensions would benefit your chosen hairstyle, Niamh will colour-match your hair and send you a direct link to purchase the correct set.
Where should I purchase my extensions?
Niamh recommends ClipHair extensions and will provide the appropriate colour and product link after assessing your hair at the trial.
What if I am unsure whether I need extensions?
There is no need to decide beforehand. Your natural hair, chosen hairstyle and desired finish will be assessed during the trial.
Extensions may be recommended for additional volume, length, structure or longevity, but they are not automatically required for every bride.
HAIR PREPARATION
How should I prepare my hair for the wedding morning?
Unless advised differently at your trial:
• Wash your hair the evening before the wedding
• Fine or oily hair may be washed on the wedding morning
• Blow-dry the hair smooth and ensure it is completely dry
• Avoid heavy conditioners, oils or styling products
• Do not arrive with damp hair
Full preparation instructions will be provided in your Bridal Hair Guide before the wedding.
WEDDING-MORNING TIMINGS
How long does hairstyling take?
As a general guide:
Bride — approximately 1.5 hours
Bridal-party member or guest — approximately 45–60 minutes
The final schedule will depend on your party size, chosen hairstyles, ceremony time and photography requirements.
Will the bride be styled last?
Not necessarily. Niamh usually recommends placing the bride within the middle of the schedule rather than leaving her until last.
This creates a calmer morning and leaves plenty of time for dressing, photographs, final touch-ups and veil placement.
How long does Niamh remain after hairstyling?
Niamh generally remains for final checks, finishing touches and veil placement before leaving.
Depending on the agreed schedule, this may be approximately one to one-and-a-half hours after the main styling has been completed.
What if my photographer requires an earlier finish?
Please confirm your required “hair complete” time with your photographer before finalising the wedding-morning schedule.
If first-look photographs or an early ceremony require an exceptionally early start, the €100-per-hour early-start fee and applicable accommodation charge will be added to your quote.
FLOWERGIRLS
How much is flowergirl hairstyling?
Flowergirl pricing is:
Under 6 years — complimentary
Ages 6–10 — €45
Age 11 and over — €60
Flowergirl services must be included in advance so sufficient time can be allowed in the wedding-morning schedule.
SECOND STYLISTS
Will I need a second hairstylist?
A second stylist may be required when:
• More than six people require hairstyling
• The available preparation time is limited
• Photography or ceremony timings require the party to be ready earlier
Niamh can help recommend or source an appropriate second stylist where possible.
How is the second stylist booked and paid?
Second stylists work independently and may require their own booking confirmation, deposit, service fee and travel charge.
These costs are separate from Niamh’s package unless explicitly stated otherwise in your quote.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Are the prices guaranteed?
Only the contractual rates stated on your confirmed invoice are guaranteed.
